Diesel Gym appoints Daniel Sam as new Muay Thai Head Coach
London, UK. 25th Jan. – Diesel Gym, London has announced today that Daniel Sam has been appointed the new Head Coach for the Muay Thai team. Daniel is currently the UK’s No 1 ranked Heavyweight in Muay Thai and holds an impressive 50+ fight record. He has fought across the globe for promotions such as ENFUSION, SUPERKOMBAT and GLORY and holds notable wins that include a 2017 3rd round TKO win over Steven “The Panda” Banks, the WBC World Muay Thai Champion, in a full thai rules match as well as ending Patrice Quarteron’s 12 fight (and 6 year) win streak in 2016 by a solid decision in Paris.
Cliff Bura, Managing Director of Diesel Gym, London said, “We are extremely happy to have Daniel lead our muay thai team. He will be tasked to develop our muay thai training program across all levels from complete beginners to international fighters. Daniel has a deep passion for our sport and an amazing knowledge and experience to draw upon.”

Also re-joining the Diesel Muay Thai coaching team is Christian Meramo who brings with him 15 years Muay Thai experience and successful fight career, as well as being a REPS Level 3 Fitness instructor specialising in strength & conditioning, mobility and weight loss. Christian will be supporting Daniel and overseeing our beginners programs.
